Calendar
- Academic Year begins in the month of August / September every year.
- Course consists of 2 Years with 4 semesters. Osmania University Almanac is followed.
- Duration of each semester is 15-16 weeks.
Admissions
Intake Capacity
The 2 years MCA course has an intake of 60 students every year.
Fee
Student Fee is decided by the AFRC a body on behalf of State Government.
Eligibility
A Candidate for admission to the three-year post graduate course in Master of Computer Applications must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2+3) or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.

Process
42 seats (70%) are admitted through common counseling as "Category-A" conducted by APSCHE on behalf of Government for all the candidates who qualified in the ICET entrance test.
18 seats (30%) are admitted through Management as "Category-B" for all the candidates who qualified in the ICET entrance test OR having 50% marks in the qualifying exam as per APSCHE Guidelines.

Rules & Regulations
Rules Of Attendance
Students must attend 75% of the total classes conducted for all the courses put together in a semester. Exemption of 10% of attendance might be given to a student on medical grounds on the basis of a valid medical certificate and payment of exemption fee prescribed by the university.

Promotion Rules
A student will be promoted subject to the following rules:
To Even Semesters (II/IV/VI):
A student should put in a minimum of 75% of aggregate attendance in all the courses put together of the term (65% in the case of medical exemption) and should be registered for the University exam for the I/III/V semester.
To ODD Semesters (I/III/V):
A student should put in a minimum of 75% of aggregate attendance in all the courses put together of the term (65% in the case of medical exemption) and should have passed at least 75% of Theory courses of I& II/ III&IV Semesters put together. (Viva Voce and Lab courses not considered for this purpose)
